Snow Socks vs. Snow Chains

It has been a while since we have switched from snow chains to snow socks at TuamV Agency. We have decided for socks because they are easier to use and you can drive with them up to 60 kilometers per hour. The socks are also lighter and thinner, if you compare them with chains and they also take less space when they are folded together.

The snow socks are for our purposes the perfect choice even thou they have some weaknesses in comparison with snow chains. They are often more expensive and they are torn easily on the other hand the chains are practically undestroyable.  The chains also fit to a wider range of wheels as socks but on the other hand, if they don’t feet perfectly they can damage the vehicle.
