Malvasia is the daughter of the Mediterranean. The fact that it also matures in Brda suggests that the Mediterranean influence reaches deeper inland all the way to Brda. The style of Malvasia in Brda is surprisingly more structured, firm and strong compared to the seaside style, where it is more elegant and aromatic. The minerality it expresses is a typical Brda.

Product description
The colour is golden, medium deep. Medium intense nose is ripe, juicy and floral. Acacia, dandelion flower, ripe apricots. Well-knit with fine oak-ageing notes, caramel. Dried herbs are sneaking up too. Dry on the palate, full-bodied, with moderate, balanced acidities. Rich and intense. Oily texture - a trademark of our wines from the premium line is very present. A distinctive style of Malvazija Istarska, quite different from Istrian ones. The later are fruiter and more opulent, while ours is more structured and firmer – very much in the style of Brda. With a long and savoury aftertaste.
