Since 1935 when the Povh family planted their first vines on hills above Vipava valley, our long tradition of wine making began. It’s modern form sprung to life in 1985 when our father Stanko took over the family vineyards and began paving the way towards brand recognition and highest quality wine of geographic origin. We are most proud of our Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Yellow Muscat and Vipava’s autochthonous Zelen wines. Since 2016 we are also members of the European Agri-Environment-Climate Programme. Povh wines are distinguished by knowledge, tradition, quality and partnership with nature.
