Slovenia is becoming very popular Cruise destination in the Adriatic Sea and as such it was also part of our cruising itinerary. Me and my friends we have all agreed that we are not interested in the tour that are usually hold but instead we want something different. We have decided to do wine tasting organised by TuamV Agency in Istria. The wine tasting was not only tasting of the wine but also tasting of the delicious food that our host prepared for us. We did not only enjoy in this delicious feast but we have also learnt a lot about the traditions and every day’s life of people that leave in this area. We are family of four and we come from Germany. Our favourite summer destination is definitely Croatia with its crystal clear Sea and countless Islands. The only problem with Croatia is that, if you are travelling there from Germany you have to cross Schengen border which means waiting at the border control. This year we crossed the border after a long stop in Istria. We have decided to stop for a day in Slovenian Istria and try their wine and homemade food. This gastronomic experience organised by TuamV Agency was really something special. Wine was of a high quality and the guided tasting was done in professional manner. We had the opportunity to learn more about Slovenia and everyday’s life of people living in the coastal region. I was sent on a first business trip to Slovenia at the time when I did not know much about the country.
